I guess it's that time again.

Before the Christmas holidays, used to be able to wake up and create an alt on Balmung at 4:30am Pacific. Now it seems as if the only chances friends can create characters on the world are when the servers are about to come down for maintenance. Is this going to be the way it is now?

Are we starting to reach a capacity on the worlds?

What is it that causes this? I've seen some answers say "It's not the amount of characters logged in" but we see during primetimes many worlds start to have the character creation restrictions themselves.

Is it a certain amount of people logged in at the major cities? Or logging into them? Can players help alleviate this or is it simply a case of "Find a new place" or wait until all of the servers reach their limits before we are able to see the technical/hardware changes to support more characters being created into the highly populated worlds?
