Multiple rows per hotbar

I want to set some hotbars as 4 buttons in 3 rows (or 6x2, etc.) instead of the current 12x1. I play with a gaming keypad whose keys are laid out like that, and I love it, but would like to be able to lay out my hotbars the same. Makes it easier to make the mental connection between "3rd button of 2nd row" and "3rd spell of 2nd row" than with "7th spell somewhere in the middle of one big row."

I'm pretty sure this isn't possible, but if I've missed something, please let me know. If not, is this being considered as an enhancement?

I know a number of players simulate this sort of grid using multiple hotbars stacked above each other with only the first few slots of each used.

Having the hotbars natively support being rearranged this way might make a nice little QoL improvement SE could make, as it would be easier to set up. But in the meantime, you can do that.

Yes, thanks for the suggestion. I've actually done this as well for the time being. Two things I don't like about this workaround:

• I have to leave a column in between sets (so the layout makes sense at a quick glance)... so effectively, 3 hotbars become 2-and-a-half.
• I can't readily use "/hotbar change" macros (such as to swap attack and healing hotbars when toggling Cleric Stance).
