Corrupt Patch in Launcher

So as the title says.

The game was working perfectly fine yesterday, but I experienced a few 90ks with 90002 being a client issue.

Now, today the launcher refuses to work. I uninstalled and attempting to reinstall it's giving me a corrupt patch in launcher. I've spent hours researching and might I add FFXIV is the only game giving me an issue.

1. I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of FFXIV.
2. Went so far as to reinstall Windows 8 in its entirety.
3. Given the program to run on administrator.
4. Allowed access through the firewall.
5. Changed the read-only setting as suggested on numerous sites.
6. Deleted the patches only for them to reinstall corrupted again.
7. Changed compatibility settings to XP as suggested.

The patch is H2014.05.27.0000.0000.b. Errors are 30413 and 20495.

This game was working fine day one. I've even downloaded new games since this started happening.

This is driving me insane as I prefer the PC version handedly.

Wonder if you don't have some mismatched versioning going on as well. This could have happened if you didn't completely wipe the game's installation folder before re-installing. The check files need to be aligned with the version you are actually running. You can open them in notepad to verify them. They are the .ver and .bck files located in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\boot" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\game" paths (two sets, in two different folders). The .bck file should be either the same or older date code than what is in the .ver file.

Oh yeah... and make sure you have a more current installer. You can download it by following the links in the Support FAQ in the Lodestone (Help & Support drop menu, click the FAQ link, then search for "client download" to get the links).

So it's all fixed, and I downloaded the launcher at the time directly from the players site originally by the way. It was hanging up, but around 2am it started magically working. To be safe I downloaded the files to a flash drive in case I have to ever reinstall it. Weirdest thing ever. It was always stuck on the 0000b, but then it went on through c d e f etc. and was fixed.
