They'll implement time magic before changing base delay.Voices yes yes and yes again! It makes such a huge difference and makes the whole world seem so much more alive. It such a small change too, it doesn't require much work from the dev team to do. WOW has voice acting for some NPCs when interacting with them, they don't say a lot, just a small sentence but the difference is huge.
As for faster auto-attacks i'm all for it too, pple asked for this many times before but the dev team responded saying they were not willing to change the attacks speed.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
As they should, There is no reason to speed up the auto-attack since it is related to the weapon delay and that spells like haste will be made available in the future and weapons with different delays will also be released. Why speed it up only to have to fix it later when it is perfectly viable right now.
i would at least like the cut scenes to be voiced, if its a money issue ill do it for free, all of them.
No voice overs, SE isn't well known for good US voice overs. Screw that. Faster auto attack? hmm maybe...
Theyre still tuning auto attack. Thats been said for a long time that in 1.18 all we got was the first wave of its implementation.
Also I would enjoy more voice acting.
Not every NPC would need voice, just the important ones. I play a lot of old-school JRPGs so I'm kind of used to non-speaking NPCs, but at least make it so that every important dialogue has voice-over.
I am seriously going to be angry if I don't get to hear the almighty Admiral!!!
Final Fantasy XII would like to have a word with you

Umm... nearly all FF games have been pretty good with voice acting. Granted there were a few odd moments, (Tidus/Yuna laugh scene, which was SUPPOSED to be awkward) but they are not even close to being bad. If you want horrendous, play some of the Star Ocean games.
Issue with voice overs is most games have their npcs say 1 of 5 lines with 1 of voices, Rift is a good example here "death to the dragons" by 80% of the npcs with the same voice for every situation..... If they are going to do voice overs well they will have to spend a small fortune on it honestly, in multiple languages. It would be nice if they had it but they would have to make it good... something I have not seen in a mmo yet and there is a 1000 other things SE needs to finish before this.
As for auto-attack speed they already said it is not finished and they did this to allow things like multiple attacking weapons and haste gear.
As they should, There is no reason to speed up the auto-attack since it is related to the weapon delay and that spells like haste will be made available in the future and weapons with different delays will also be released. Why speed it up only to have to fix it later when it is perfectly viable right now.
Is there such thing as weapon delay in this game? i don't see that in the stats anywhere... granted that if different weapons have different attack speed which in the end affects overall DPS then there's no need to touch auto-attack speed. But as it is now it looks like every single weapon in the game share the same attack speed and thus makes auto-attacks seem kind of slow compared to other mmos and i wouldnt like to replay on haste only for that.
