    Keybind Improvment

Hi im posting this with 2 main problems im facing in the game.
First one is keybind! It would be nice if they could add the "share" option for keybinds as well. For example i would like to have different keybinds set in different places for each action bar on each CLASS. Would be nice to have that to make things more organized and flexible. (when keybind share is enabled it can be the same for every class, if it is not u have to add keybinds for other classes and gets saved.)

    Second is pvp/pve action bar.
Its annoying to create a macro just to change the actions when switching from pve to pvp. (especially when playing many classes)
It would just be easier if the action bar is saved with the same class but different "gear set"

Hey, Deathmare! I generally support anything that makes the UI more flexible, but am having trouble seeing the usefulness in this - probably just because I don't know your situation. Maybe if you could give an example, it would help?

    ok lets say my default action bar is " 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0" right?
    i changed it for my paladin to "1 2 3 4 5 6 Q E R T"
so what i need is when changing to WHM is to become different and not the same as my pld like "1 2 3 4 5 6 TAB X C B"
    then lets say changing to Bard " 1 2 3 4 5 6 Shift+Q Shift+E R T"
These are just examples for ONE action bar and would be awesome to have this option for all bars (every class is setup differently)

I guess I'm like Mhalak in not seeing quite what the advantage here is. Why would you want to use "Q E R T" on your paladin, "TAB X C B" on your WHM, and "Shift+Q Shift+E R T" on your Bard rather than using "7 8 9 0" for all of them (or "Q E R T" for all of them, or whatever)? Most players pick the keys they can most easily reach and use those across all classes. What's the benefit of switching to a different part of the keyboard just because you switched classes?

Things tend to become real messy when playing through many classes and becomes unorganized. For example ill give a better idea... My paladin got many defensive cool downs and they are all located in one action bar (lets say its the 3rd action bar) and im using useful keybinds for them...and now i switch to a healer and i have less defensive cooldowns obviously so now i HAVE to put an attacking/healing spell on my defensive cooldown action bar just to use that specific keybind which is stuck in the 3rd action bar. So now i have healing spells spread everywhere and becomes messy.

Still dont get it? ill put more examples! Lets say my 3rd action bar got these keybinds "Q E R T" and each one got a dmg reduction spell for my paladin right? Now i switch to healer and i have 1 defensive cool down (not 4 like my paladin) so i put that 1 spell on the 3rd action bar and its set on "Q" but now i have 3 more key binds which are "E R T" now i HAVE to put something there but i prefer to use those 3 binds on the second action bar which is my attacking action bar on my whm but i cant... so i have no choice but to mess my spells up and throw things around for it to work.

Also Niwashi i understand what you mean but it depends what spells are worth "easily" reaching for when playing more than one class and it would be easier to keep the action bars organized for example:
    PLD: action bar 1=attacks
    action bar 2=attacks
    action bar 3=defensive cool downs

WHM:Action bar 1=heals/ healing cool downs
    action bar 2=macros
    action bar 3=Defensive macros

Now it doesnt make sense to use attacking key binds from my pld for macros on my whm right?

Also ill be adding pictures in a few days for you guys to have better understanding.

Not sure what to do for your first issue, but the second issue SE is already working on, at some point they had mentioned having PvP and PvE Bars seperate, havnt heard anything about it in a good while, and im not a PvPer so i dont pay too much attention for news on it, someone can confirm it, but i know they mentioned it a few times before.

I really don't see what's the issue with using attacking skill keybinds on other class for macros. But depending how many hotbars you need to have shared, you could just use:

    when changing to WHM:
(You have to open your armoury chest and then open the gearset list and see what's the number of your WHM gearset, then replace the "1" in the 1st line of the macro with the corresponding number.

    /gs change 1
    /hotbar display 1 off
    /hotbar display 2 off
    /hotbar display 3 off
    /hotbar display 4 on
    /hotbar display 5 on
    /hotbar display 6 on

And make hotbar 4-5-6 with keybinds you want to use for whm's what ever skills and then make a macro that is similiar, but 1-2-3 has on and 5-6-7 has off and then change the /gs change "1" number to the one corresponding your PLD's gearset number.

Can't make it work with many class if you can't put lets say, fireI-II-III on keybinds 1-2-3, but if you have those for fire, you can't use them for aggro combo on paladin. If you use that kind of way, you can have just 2 classes to play with that macro.

And I'm fairly certain that kind of keybind system will never come into this game, since it already sounds so confusing that some people might accidentally fuck up their hotbars and then complain to SE how their keybind system sucks.

People need to remember that a healer's job isn't to heal HP
but rather to prevent HP from reaching 0
