Melding Yoshimitsu Animus

I'm not really sure what might be the best approach to meld Yoshimitsu Blades for my Novus. I'd be interested in hearing what many of you have to say relative to it.

Det + Crit. There you go! If you want to save gil do det/crit (until you are out of 100% materia IV) then use accuracy for the rest.

Go crit, det and acc. Save your self some gil. T4 mats are so ovepriced.

you can also go crit, det and skill speed if you have enough acc and don't want to spend millions in IV materia

I know Materia IV's are so expensive on my server. I've used them for other relics but don't think I'm going there this time. I know I definitely don't want to get into the failure rates with Det and Crit IV's

Sorry for being off topic but what is your secret to steady finishing relics? I saw you have 2 zodiac (Gratz x 2 BTW ^^) and working on a third.

I ask this because it seem to me that the relics will be done when the expansion hits but you're still building relics . I'm on novus on 2 relics but SE is being very quiet about the relic vs expansion and it's killing my motivation.

I have 3 Zodiacs (blm, bard, warrior) and am working on my 4th (melding it now). I enjoy working on them and I multitask them. For example, I'll collect light for one and then do my daily roulette for my map and so on. I collected light for my bravura axe while doing my zodiac quests. I've been doing them from the very beginning so some were done before any of the nerfs. I'd much rather work on relics then spam dungeons for gear that will be obsolete even faster. I remember when Coil 1 gear was all the rage. I'm not sure what the future holds for our relics but I suppose I'll find out when that is formally announced. I will say that many of my friends are working on their's now from collecting alex, to working on maps and so on. If SE throws the relics out with no benefit to any new relic line for those who made the effort I think they'll have a lot of unhappy campers on their hands.

This will most probably be the last I work on. I'm not collecting any more alex or multitasking them at the moment.

I dont know what will happen in the future but think of it this way, your relic weapon "may" always upgrade. You will always have a high tier weapon.
