dots dont seem to work at some points in boss fights??

K ive been looking for the answer to this question on the internet for a long time and i guess im not wording it right.

I usually see it in Syrcus Tower ill be fighting the big bosses and then my dots stop working. I have it set up so i only see my dots while playing and it really annoys me. Then only thing that i can see as an explanation is i see the virus tick on the boss. And sometimes its not even up.

plz if you know what my struggle is id like to ask the community for help here.

The game can only display a fix amount of DoTs. It might not show but it works.
