Lyrics for Shiva's Theme (Phase 1 - "Dreams of Ice")

Have been trying to look around, I know that the part 2 lyrics (Oblivion) have been officially released, I wonder what about the first part of the song in latin (or was it just sound play like how Yuki Kajiura does with her songs)? Anyone knows if there's any info on that?

Antanias, that's the lyrics to Oblivion, not the orchestral and choral track in the first part of the battle which the OP is asking for. Which to answer her question, I have no idea sadly, as to my knowledge they haven't been released.

However, given the fact in the recent Live Letter video Soken admitted that there was actually no lyrics in an earlier orchestral/choral-sounding piece he composed for the game (Ultima), instead just used a random 'Vox' generator to create 'choral sounds' with no actual lyrics, I wouldn't be surprised if the theme for the first part of the Shiva battle was composed in a similar way sadly.

Those are the lyrics for the Part 2 Shiva theme "Oblivion". The OP is looking to see if there are any "real" lyrics for the part one theme. Which judging from the "made up" lyrics for Ultima song, I have a hunch that is the same thing for the part 1 Shiva song lyrics.

Yeah I was wondering about the first part where it is orchestral and vocal.

Cos if Soken released the part 2 "oblivion", then it doesn't make sense he didn't release the part 1, which I was wondering if there is any real lyrics or they are just made up stuff haha.

It appears that Soken uses a procedural thing for the "Latin" bits in most of the songs, based on an interview from the Tokyo fanfest. Someone was asking about the lyrics to Ultima Weapon's theme, but only the intro has a specific meaning.

As to Shiva's theme, the part with lyrics is pretty okay. I especially like:

Fearless creatures, we all learn to fight the Reaper
Can't defeat her, so instead I'll have to be her

Because that is a straight badass line.
