    MNK and Earthshaker.

Just a call out to MNKs who have done turn 13.

Is it possible to maintain GL3 when targetted with Earthshaker? If so how do you do it?
As doing the maths with timing, it seems so tight to not possible.

Move into position for first ES, wait for 2nd, wait for 3rd, shouldercharge back and before I can do a rotation to refresh GL, it drops :S

Maybe just takes perfect timing or I'm missing something.

I try and finish with a Demolish as I'm moving into position for the first ES due to the length of the anim for it giving me about an extra second over snap punch.

Let your PLD use [Cover] on you.

you have about 2 seconds to get into position after the earthshaker marker disappears, can hit a gcd (demolish ideally) right as you disconnect as the marker disappears and you can get gl3 back on for earthshakers in last phase. can shoulder tackle in after the last one goes off if you're careful and are in range too

for first phase just place earthshakers 5 yalms away while weaving in gcds in between explosions. really fun actually

In Phase 1 you can just weave in and out to place the earthshakers a bit away from bahamut will still maintaining your GCD's.

Cover is better used on a BLM.

Why? I can absorb 2/3 of the attacks with manawall. (actually asking, only been in for a few attempts)

And most blm's save procs if they have any, and can at least scathe worst case, where as a melee is doing nearly nothing for a few seconds unless covered. So yeah, much better on melee's.

Do you have a video example? It's hard to imagine being able to place them far away enough and not running into them while doing it, while simultaneously not blocking off the side of Bahamut.

Not saying you can't do this but I just don't know exactly how it'd be done efficiently.

If you don't start moving out until shortly after the markers disappear while trying to advance as much of your combo as possible, you should be able to place Earthshakers pretty far out, then Shoulder Tackle in as soon as the last one drops and mash your combo like you mean it. I've done this pretty consistently (on my alt). The timing is fairly tight, however. And in the final phase, I just lose the stacks (NB: we're not at risk of enrage) because people don't always leave enough room for Tempest Wing.

If your group will let you hang closer and give you room to play with, then keeping stacks should be much easier!

mostly only applicable in phase 1. the distance between bahamut and the puddles is more than enough for p1's mechanics so it works out (since they disappear before the second earthshaker, and there aren't any pillars/tethers to worry about)

Looks simple enough, I like it.
