Have they said that (with the expansion) they're going to move the current main scenario stuff that occupies the level 50 space back so that we encounter all the story content back-to-back at earlier levels? 'Cause that's not only the easiest solution to this particular problem, but also the right thing to do for the flow of the game in general.

I mean, the dev team has made a -lot- of content now. For any players coming into the game fresh, there's absolutely no excuse for there to be any amount of grinding. Everybody should be occupied with a main scenario dungeon, a side-quest, or an extreme mode something-er-other at every point along the way.

Been thinking of this a lot lately,

This seems to plague most all MMOs. From 3.0 onward, all the content will be stuffed into just 10 levels, but for the original game it is a 50 level spread. Yes, the actual time it takes to go from 50-60 might be equal to or possibly longer than going 1-50, but there will always be much more content at all levels in game from 50 onward to 99 by default. I'd like to see the earlier stuff buffed up, but it might be too low on the development priority list.

What's wrong with making more dungeons for a level range anyway? Nobody likes doing Totorak so why not give them another dungeon for that range?

Hell, it would not only inspire lv50s to play lower level content but it would also be challenging due to level sync. I don't see how making new low level dungeons could be a bad thing.

I don't know what low level dungeons you are doing but the ones I did (spoiler: all of them) to level all my combat classes to 50 definitely weren't challenging.
