    Eternal Bonding Time

so me and my friend were supposed to be bonded at 11:00 AM CST

we tried to get into the chapel at 11:21 AM.....APPARENTLY if you are late 20+ mins from the invitation time, your shit out of luck

    WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?!

when you reserve a timeslot for your bonding, you are LITERALLY the only people on the whole server that has that timeslot. so why not let us enter at any point in that timeslot? or why not extend the attendance time if you have gold or platnium?

Your reservation is a two-hour block (exact wording taken from the planning site) and if they did still allow people in past a certain lateness, they'd therefore risk running into the next ceremony (also a problem with real life ceremonies that start late!).

Yes this isn't real life, it COULD have been instanced, but for whatever reason they chose not to do that with Eternal Bondings. Sorry, harsh as I know this'll sound, but they gave you a reservation for 11am (the time you picked), you weren't there, not really their fault if it didn't go ahead.

Um.. maybe you should've got on earlier?

Plus, people who get bonded are told this. Come 20mins late and you're out of luck.

we diddnt know about the 20 min timer, either through it not telling you when you reserve, or having to wait the 2 weeks and forgetting because they diddnt make it obvious enough

In our ever increasing narcissistic world I know it's hard to hear - but the world doesn't revolve around you. The blame is your own for being late, and clearly not reading instructions. Why even make a thread about it? If you cant show up on time for something as silly as getting video game married Id hate to see how you handle real life responsibilities.

Since on most servers reserving a wedding is highly competitive, I don't understand why anyone would risk their slot by starting late. Even if I hadn't read the instructions and known about the 20 minute limit, I still would have shown up early and started exactly on time. Their logic to the limit is so people's weddings don't get cut off due to another one starting. It makes sense - although I'm not saying the wedding system as a whole is good or bad.

I personally show up to ANY appointment thirty minutes early. A policy to live by for both serious and casual appointments, real life or not. Your boss and friends will respect you for your punctuality.

You're complaining that you failed to either read/remember the very clear instructions given to you?
    ...what?

The fault lies with the both of you, nobody else. If it was some bad luck, like a storm shut your power off or something else entirely out of anyone's control, then I'd sympathize. The fact that it's entirely your fault, yet you complain about it, just means you have quite a lot of growing up to do.

Not everyone was raised as well though. Some people think if they are late or fail to keep up their personal responsibilities it is everyone elses fault but theirs. I work in a job that revolves around a lot of deadlines set by state law, and it never ceases to amaze me the people who will come in and expect you to essentially rewrite state law and statute to accommodate their inability to tend to their business. Many today just have this approach on life. Its more so this self centered, narcisistic, selfie generation who know nothing but instant gratification and entitlement.

Show up on time, or tough luck. Dont come screaming in caps lock and bold letters on the forums because you cant tend to simple video game responsibilities.
