I do remember them saying that Louisoix's Staff is very important horn that has been passed around for for many generations. That it wasthe "key" to something. I think it played a minor role in 1.0

Not only doe the staff hold great power its also a relic of Louisoix, so it might've had a boost in power since that "incident"

I wonder if the Asciens plan on summoning Zodiark (or another entity, maybe Hydeline?) via the 6 crystals we collected in 2.0 + Lousoix Staff + Minfilia (who seems to have the strongest connection to Hydeline next to the hero) = ???

Lastly, Hydeline has been pouring her essence into the Hero constantly while her power dwindles what if they plan on taking this "essence" from the Hero; hence the beam of light puncturing the Hero

I think the light come from the auracite, the staff can concentrate a large quantity of aether, used to summon the twelves, or in this case, to make a blade of light to kill an ascian.

I wonder who's side Godbert is on. It's never been hinted at (as far as I know) if he's loyal to the Sultana or the Syndicate. I think the players are on the Royalist side, and we helped his boy on multiple occasions...dunno what side he'll pick.
