Totally /agree!! I've spent so much time leveling my subs so that I could avoid going to the markets for my mats; after I got most of them to R15+, crafting was fun and easy... I also enjoy the required training for recipes--it gives you little goals to work on while you grind your way up

Gathering the mats to make a finished item is half the fun of crafting. It forces you to go out and do different things to earn your synths rather than just buying a ton of mats, gluing them together, then selling the result for a small profit. However, this patch seems to target people who want to do just that, and it leaves the people who have invested their time and guild marks on the current system--well--screwed!

People who want easier recipes and synthesis are just too lazy to actually craft... it doesn't take that long to get leatherworking to 25 for a weaver sub, it isn't that hard to save up guild marks for training, and you don't have to be super resourceful to figure out how to get all your mats...

Crafting is about 80% of the game to me right now, if all the training I've collected, subs I've leveled, and parts I've horded become meaningless, then so does this game to me

I don’t understand why they need to dull crafting down.

To all those who use the excuse of the excessive amount of time needed to make 1 piece of gear.
I say that’s how things should be. Besides you only need to make it once then you have it forever.

Whine, whine, whine, if you really like needing a sub 30+ for a r20 craft, All power to you.

Whine, whine, whine, if you really like needing 8 ingredients for making a single pie, go for it. (exaggeration)

Only reason I can see people going against this, is the people that craft and like being relied upon. Instead of people doing the craft themselves.

It is so funny that you post whine, whine, whine when it was people who don't like to craft that sat on the forums to "whine, whine, whine" until SE decided to nuke crafting.
