unless SE wants to alienate its payers, it wont drop sliphnir. though it would make the mount being in the shop an "optional" item

It won't be dropping a mount. They are adding the new mount that is only obtainable by people with all the elemental mounts. They are done with them already for trials.

cash shop odin unique walk shape model and allows you to look bad ass

Personally I wouldn't mind some decent level accessories or gear that could be upgraded using Odin Mantles from the FATE.
I have about 50 extra ones, and I've already bought everything I can.
