    When you're worrying about your tanking DPS, please recall that fights have mechanics that take precedence over DPSing. You have Adds to pick up and fight, which can distort DPS meters if not configured correctly. Other times you're avoiding things, dodging things, doing other necessary mechanics.

    Not many bosses are 100% uptime on mobs for you to continue parsing high DPS. looked like you didn't have Internal Release. That's a really good cross CD with super short CD, and lasts long enough to be worth it.

    I usually get around ~300+ on T13, at ilvl124, and it involves a lot more running around and down time from whacking mobs.

    So yeah, point is, keep it in perspective of the fight. Don't just focus on the DPS numbers....that's what DPS classes are for. :P

    Yeah its all relative. High DPS hurts your numbers in turns like 13 where the adds phase is on a fixed timer, so you spend a lot of time just waiting for the next set to spawn.

    True enough. My groups lucky enough that our DPS is exactly right to drop the mob the second the next ones supposed to come up. I have very little downtime. ^_^

    Well yea, I put the mechanics and my primary role first and foremost, but at the same time there is no reason a similarly geared Warrior should do more than I can... as I should be capable of replicating the same, or I am doing something wrong.

    But I'm doing alright now. The other night we were at 54% on the fourth Revelation. I am wondering if next week with me going from i115 axe to i130, and bard and monk going from i120-i130, maybe we can push before that fourth Revelation.

    I have heard 260 on wipes around Bennu phase like 5-6 times now, so maybe with the better gear next week I can approach 300 during that time. I don't know what is reasonable.

    Going from 115 to 130 axe is big boost to your DPS and the MNK going to 130 is a big boost too. Might see it soon!

    Tell ya what - all of the micro-managing of serk and unchained is secondary to str spec'ing. At least in my opinion and experience.

    Strength does seem very helpful. I was easily clearing 220s simply by adding the Str ring and Diamond Axe instead of HA.

    Still not numbers that others hit similarly geared. A guy I know hits 275 with the Diamond Axe and Ruby accessories. So at most he's got ~40 more strength, unless he has some Dreadwyrm left side. I'm all IW left side.

    It seems too late to do ruby accessories with the patch just around the corner... unless you have gil to spare. If i110 crafted accessories aren't released though I'd highly recommend doing it. I do stand by what I mentioned earlier. Try starting off as MT. With four bennus you should be back to holding the boss before pushing into bennu phase.

    If you have gil to spare and don't have ruby accessories I would still recommend them. They're really cheap now right and if you need the skill speed to hit 9 skills on berserk it could even be worth it this late in the content cycle.

    What hp would you say is necessary for T12? I have full i90 pentamelds/30 STR spec and I have just shy of 10.5K HP in defiance with food and party buff. I want to use the Shiva Ex Slaying bracelet and it'll drop me to under 10.2 HP. Is that safe? How about for T13?

    Eh with the patch less than 7 days away I would say NOT to buy the i90s....wait and see. If the i110s are garbage or don't exist the cost won't go up dramatically, but if they are awesome and you need to have them you just wasted millions on melds.

    I did T12 last night with shiva axe, ruby ear, ruby neck, shiva slaying bracelet, dread fending ring, gloam ring (9900 hp in defiance). Did 275 DPS which is a little on the low end (I majorly screwed my first berserk, oops! lol) - HP level was totally fine for my healers, no close calls - you have so much latitude on CDs in 12 its not even funny. You could get away with 1 minor, 1 major, and IB for every rev, plus you have holmgang as an insurance policy.

    13... we're still progressing so I go in (right now) with about 10,700 hp, after 2.5 hits I have no idea what I'm going to end up with. My current theory is I will end up using 1 ruby, 2 i110s, and 2 slaying accessories (I have dread hands/legs, IW everything else atm)
