Can't change user ID on PS4

Curious, but how much progression have you made on your pc account versus your ps4 account?

The one you created on ps4 can just as easily be played on pc.

And, when you say 'nothing worked', are you saying you werent able to create a new ps profile? or something else?

Hmm sounds odd... well I know as I swaped PC to PS4 i had to buy game for Playstation and add on Mogstation a Playstation licence (still have PC escape when PSN bugs out \o/) If you done that I seriously dont know as I have like on PC the loginscreen where I type in ID, PW, onetime PW :/

I only really played on PC. I installed the trial first on PS4 but pretty much just ran around. On PC, I have my arcanist at level 24 right now. I really don't feel like going through all those quests again, especially the chain for the mount.

When I created the new profile on the PS4 and launched FFXIV, it told me something about I had to enter a license code and to hold down the PS button and select close. That was before trying to log in or anything. I tried activating that account as my primary PS4 account (I found that online as a way to share games with family members) but FFXIV still gave me the same error.

I really want to get my characters and play on my PS4. I read that it's the premium way to play the game, even better than high end PC gaming hardware. Not to mention playing on a 65" screen in the comfort of my living room and 7.1 surround sound.

I don't see anything about adding a license on mogstation. I purchased the game on the PSN store, I don't buy any physical media anymore. It doesn't come with any license.

This is the message you will likely get:

Add PlayStation®3 License

To play FINAL FANTASY XIV on the PlayStation®3, you must first either purchase the digital download, or apply a registration code through the Sony Entertainment Network.

So...I would suggest taking your PC game's registration code and applying it on the Sony entertainment webpage. That may be your best bet.

That would be fine but I don't have a PC registration code anywhere. I bought the game online so I don't have a box with a code on it. Plus I just know it's going to give me a problem trying to apply the registration code to a 2nd account.

steam? May want to follow up with them and see if you can retrieve the code.

If I recall... there is usually a place that displays the code.

We're trying to offer ideas mate, test them or don't... we can't predict every roadblock you may come across, just what we would do if we ran into one.

There is no registration code when you buy a digital copy, it's just activated.
