They wouldn't let a tank do that much DPS. The added HP and defense would trivialize some stuff.

They also said they altered existing abilities of PLD and WAR.
That could mean a nerf to dps when without the new stance :x

I'd say maybe beat a bard who has foes up all the time but that's pushing it too. The real question is will WAR out dps other tanks in their attack stance? Theorycrafters, GO!
Edit: I meant Mage Ballad. I don't play bard so idk.

I doubt tanks will do more damage than the other DDs, but if they get to like 70-80% of them (In attack stance), I wouldn't mind at all and I don't think it's unfair, simply because it makes tanks(and healers for that matter) less boring to play, which means these roles will be more popular. DDs are great and they have their job to do as well as buffs/debuffs to cast, which increase overall dps, so I don't think it would be terrible if they only surpassed tank/healer dps by 30-20%
Everything is bearable with music

WAR may be getting a DPS buff but so are all the DPS jobs, their new moves will probably outweigh the new battle stance. They'll probably outdps a DD if they didn't get any new moves from 50-60 though. Especially with these new abadon stacks, they'll probably be getting some monster damage moves.
^ Up till now, everyone had a general 3 step combo for DPS, including tanks. I'm pretty sure every DPS is getting a 4th step in one way or another. Tanks are getting attack stances to keep up with that so they don't feel like dead weight when that guy in the party tells everyone how they parsed.

Can already out dps lots of dps in my str set with crit/det zeta
A new attack stance is going to be amazing
