I'm probably too lazy to write up a story that's at least 7500 words. But I do like to RP, and I was wondering if there is an out of game community of RPers here that I could hook up with on some external website somewhere, since I'm not on the besaid server and people don't RP on my server.

First of all: Great idea! Couldn't help but start writing![]()
Then 2 questions:
When we submitted, we can still use the text for a blog or something? Not sure if i understood this right.
And...what about a little bonus or something for people who don't have english as a first language? Because when grammar etc. counts, not having grown up with the english language is a huge drawback...just an idea, i don't care about winning, participating is already funAnd of course, everyone could pretend to be foreigner...
7'500 is not so much to write, I'm glad you changed the requirements.
Good luck to everyone!
Greetings,
Raine
If you feel like you want to include that in your submission, feel free to add that in the body of the e-mail you send.![]()

Bump for niftyness.
Also Sterne, I submitted my work last week to you, but I never received any kind of "Yes, we got it, you're entered" type of confirmation. Can you let me know so I don't panic... thanks...
Also, if i made some edits after submission, can I re-submit as long as its before the deadline?

Is a comedy story allowed that features game mechanics to a certain extent? (e.g/ "Whoops sorry, I left my Raise spell at home")
Sorry for the late response!
I'm sure that's just fineIt'd be nice to some lighthearted fan fiction when I'm sure everyone has one drama or another

For those of you wondering how we will be judging the pieces, here you go!
Title:
Author Name:
Length:
Originality:
/10
Development:
/10
Mechanics:
/10
Judges Preference:
/10
Lore/Believability:
/10
Total Score: __/50
The judges are only required to make a final overall comment on your piece though some may make comments to explain their scores in each area. Please do not hassle them to elaborate. If you feel you were judged unfairly, clearly write out an e-mail explain why, and it'll be taken under consideration.
Have a great week!

Waiting for the results of this is almost as bad as waiting for an XIV patch!
It was a struggle at first to get all the judges back in line. A number of them left the game and lost interest, others had real life tragedies and just won't have time to read let alone play the game for a while.
Don't worry though - we have a handful of people to judge and they've started (or so they say).
