    Spouse housing

When I heard that we will be able to marry someone in the game I got really excited (like many people) but a thought came to mind: It would awesome if we could live in a house with our spouse! We can already buy a house for our free companies and we're soon to get personal housing but what about spouse housing? (Don't know how to to word it. >.>)

    So the question is
(even though I said it already <.<)

Will we get to live with our spouses in a house when 2.4 comes out or will it be patched in the future or would it be too difficult to implement?

    [Speculation is encouraged]

I really hope that they will allow group housing for personal housing. For married couples and perhaps just regular roomates.

However, I don't see them allowing for this.

What I predict they'll do is only one person owns a house and is allowed to give permissions. So they could allow a second person the permission to rearrange furniture or enter the house. This sort of works but what my concern is that if it's not person b's house by ownership how would they be able to use the special teleports and related perks? I'm hoping if they go with this method they make a compromise for this one catch with it.

I agree, I really want to co-own a house with someone as well. I'll be really disappointed if I cannot.
I can understand that only one of us may be able to hold the deed by being the one whom makes the purchase transaction. Maybe it would be possible for them to add an "invite to homestead" option that will allow someone to join a household as if it were their own. Might be a good option not only for couples and friends but perhaps linkshells that cannot own a clubhouse since they're not a FC.

Co-ownership is something I'm really hoping for. Or rather, having one actual owner and the marriage partner/selected roommate has the same permissions to decorate etc., minus kicking the actual owner out or giving up the house/plot.

Give us a Spouse House, nows!

It would make sense, in a marriage exclusive sort of way I suppose. I definitely second this.

Also, wouldn't emotes you can only unlock as a eternal bond bonus be adorable~? ^_^

The problem with this is when you and your G/F decide to go different ways. Who gets this and that~

Although I think it would be cool, I don't really foresee them allowing married couples joint housing. Mostly because of how simple the marriage system sounds. YoshiP said that you could "divorce" by simply throwing the ring away. And if it's that easy, I don't know, it seems like they wouldn't attach housing ownership to it. But I could be wrong! There is a lot I would love to know about personal housing still, I can't wait until they finally release some info on it.

Well, if you put it that way, divorce is simple in real life too.
I just can't imagine your spouse being very happy with you if you throw your ring away.

Good point, I wonder if they could implement a system that allows whomever 'places' the furniture is the one who has rights to it. At least, then you can be a bit more careful in case of future separation (on good or bad terms of course).
