Fog of War!

I think this is a really good idea, i was a disipointd when i walked into a area for the 1st time and could already see everyting.

I didn't realy have a problem with the way the the maps were obtained in FFXI, but i also don't think it is the way to go or if it will even work in FFXIV.

logged in just to "like" the thread and say that FoW is the best solution to please both people who wants the maps given to them for free and those who would prefer some sense of exploration and would rather work to uncover all the map.

I didn't mind the coffers in FFXIV, yes it was ong and maybe frustrating sometime, but it was a satisfaction when you actually acquired it, but I am willing to compromise with the Fog of War idea.

So right now we don't have it but when they introduce the zones redesign and the new zones they should come with that feature.

And for everyone complaining they cant see everything I'm sure there will be a FFXIV-Atlas.com at some point.

I just don't understand people wanting everything handed to them in an MMO. o_O It's lazy. Oh and lets not forget they are remaking some zones, if they make fog of war then everyone will be able to explore all over again!
