Why can't I glamour reindeer suit? It's projectable.

I have been trying to figure out how to project the reindeer suit and am completely stumped. I've tried everything. Since it would glamour over multiple gear pieces at once I figured well maybe I have to remove the current glamours on the other pieces, and it still doesn't show in the glamour list.

I know. That's what I said in the topic, but what does it glamour to? It doesn't even show up in the glamour list. It has to glamour to something since it says projectable. There is no gear that takes up 4 slots except reindeer and possibly some other holiday vanity out there.

Not necessarily, it might jut be technically projectable.

Are there any other pieces in the game that take up the same slots? If yes, you can glamour it to that. If no, it can't be glamoured yet.

Offhand, I THINK the chocobo suit takes up the same slots, so you could glamour it to that. On the other hand, there is no real reason to.

There is no gear that takes up 4 slots except reindeer and possibly some other holiday vanity out there.

The only other piece of gear that take up four slots that I can think of off the top of my head is Odins body armor.

I THINK the chocobo suit takes up the same slots, so you could glamour it to that. On the other hand, there is no real reason to.

Saw that on a friend of mine and I believe it only took up 3 slots. body, hands, and legs.

Exactly, vanity on vanity wouldn't make sense. That's a bummer.

Thanks SE for some holiday vanity I can't even use, unless you want to wear while afk or some roleplaying or something. I've had it sitting in my retainer since 2013 as I am only just now wanting to use it as it kind of reminds me of cute warm snuggly footy pajamas.

Don't really understand why gear like chocobo suit, reindeer suit, odin armor can't be glamoured onto normal body pieces, and excuse that it interferes with other gear slots is moot. Dream tunic is body gear, but it also covers your hands and has no problems with glamours.

I really don't understand why you can't just project a multi-slot item onto a single slot item and have it "cover" the other slots. From a technical standpoint, it shouldn't be THAT difficult, right?

Also, would be nice if they did something like make a "mannequin" gear slot, and have the mannequin have default clothes that can't be removed, and be able to project onto those, and have whatever the mannequin is wearing show as what you're wearing. That is, make it a customizable costume slot, more or less. Then you could just switch out mannequins to switch out your costume. Because I mean, maybe I want my DRK to look different from my WAR and also different from my PLD, but currently, I would need to reglamour every single time I switched, since they would all share gear. Makes sense, SE. Makes sense.

They really need to take these mutliple slot vanity gear and just turn it into body piece only. The dream tunic thingy from 1.0 is only a body piece but overrides the hand display with gloves. I don't see why reindeer and the others couldn't be the same.
