PayPal is a very popular and widely-used payment method in many parts of the world, especially in North America.

It would make sense that Square-Enix should do everything in their power to allow this option as payment; it can only HELP Final Fantasy XIV grow, allowing players who only use PayPal to actually give SE their money.
