    MNK needs a minor buffs

    the entire game is designed to screw over monks
    boss fight, fates, dungeons. none of em are mnk friendly
    maybe t8 but thats 1 in many

    drg and nin reach their optimal damage in like 5 secs
    mnk needs 15-20 secs at least and it could be lost in 5 secs or less

    and the worst part is that the mnk has no control over it

    also other dps gets to pump out 1000+ hits with just 1-2-3 while mnk needs al least 3 rotation to start hitting that number

    MNK has a higher "wind-up" time but they compensate for that by being the absolute highest DPS in the entire game once they get there.

    i doubt mnk will get time to hit that absolute highest dps if the game kept ****ing them over with phase transition

    I am sorry to say this to you, friend. If you are playing a Mnk and you are losing DPS to ANY DPS class of equally gears in ANY fight, except Titan EX, you should either re-considerate your MNK rotation or MNK simply is not the class for you. Not trying to be elitist but truth simply is...truth.

    im i118 mnk
    was doing sastasah hm with some i110 nin
    i did the typical mnk rotation, kept twin up, demolish ,dk tod up
    and guess who kept critting for 800-1400 with 123?
    not me

    also primal trials? **** that
    "oh you got gl3 up? lemme just jump away till its gone"

    Definately depends how good the monk is skill wise, some I beat with my drg every time, others beat me everytime. Equal ilvl.

    Meanwhile, all the top raid groups run 1 or 2 monks. Totally outclassed, monks need buffs for sure.

    The two world first T13 were done with two monks. How strange...
    Dont look hits (in that case, play BLM if you want to see 3000ish hits), but the dps.

    You can get GL3 back relatively quickly. Most major phase transitions don't happen more than 3 minutes apart (and if they are, you don't need optimum DPS anyway) at which point you fire up perfect balance and smack em with demolish and/or snap punch 3 times to get your stacks back.
    Every DPS class has their quirks and workarounds. Being able to compensate for things like phase transitions and mechanics is the difference between being an average player and a great player.
