Relic Reborn: Navel (Titan) Hard not showing up in duty finder

Hey all, doing the relic quest. Just did Howling eye Hard (and previously bowl of embers Hard). My relic quest line now says to do Navel (Hard), but it's not showing up in my duty finder...

    Any ideas?

Pay the Walking sands another visit, its possible you have never picked up the Titan HM quest, after beating Garuda HM.

Thanks, I think this is it. Possible need "in a Titan spot" quest.

Yes, if you haven't unlocked the Navel (HM) before, you have to get the quest that sends you to the aetheryte, but once you've unlocked the duty in DF, you can abandon the quest and it'll still be available. Don't do that though or you'll have to re-fight Titan because you still need to complete the quest to unlock the quests for the Extreme modes. This happens again with the EX's, by the way.

Edit: Whoops! Forgot the order of the HMs is different. Anyway, still don't drop the quest because it's still a requirement for Extreme modes.

This whole thing is very confusing. I got the quest "in a Titan spot" and run through the mines, but the doors are locked leading to turn in the quest. And how is it that I already had Ifrit HM in my duty finder and was able to fight (and beat) it?

Have to say the bread crumbs in ffxiv are a bit lacking.

The quests to unlock the HM primals are in the same order as the relic reborn quest requires them. There's no room for confusion as you just do the quests and get the credit towards your relic as you go.

With regards to the aetheryte in the mines, you need to run ALL the way through the mines and enter that tunnel from the other end. Breadcrumbs aren't lacking, just look at the map.

Don't remember since that was so long ago but I do know that initially the HM's went in a different order than the EX's. You fought Ifrit, then Garuda and then finally Titan for the HM's.

Sorry, I got the order of HM fights mixed up with EX. You still need to complete In A Titan Spot to do the Extreme mode fights, so if you abandon the quest after unlocking the duty, you really will have to re-fight Titan HM before you can move on to Garuda EX.

My mistake, I did find the entrance to turn in 'in a titan spot'. The tunnels were just well hidden. Now I've got Navel (Hard) in my duty list, though it has a lock on it.
