Zodiac drop not active in dungeon (Brayflox Longstop Hard)

I was told to come here from the GM. So, when I was running Brayflox's Longstop (Hard) I noticed something odd. The area at the end of the dungeon where the final boss is that is normally highlighted in orange for these quests, was not. Now, I've been told that if it is not in the orange circle, that most likely the run will not count as to getting the drop. I could try running it more times to see if it will work anyway, bu I don't want to waste my time doing runs if they wont matter. Does anyone have any info on this? I also heard that if it isnt highlighted, then the game won't treat the quest as active and i will definitely not be getting the drop.

It drops there, took me close to 30 tries. It's part of the known issues with 2.45:
2.45 Patch Notes

In the sidequest “A Ponze of Flesh” the map does not appear when clicking on the objective “Obtain a gobmachine bangplate from Brayflox’s Longstop (Hard).”

They might have fixed this issue, but along with it was the no red circle on last boss.
