Gear in Coil

I would keep greed in all the actual content, except in Coil.

You want to gear up your alts, you show up with it and fight the battle with it. Now, to be fair, i would take out the coffers and instead, i would give Coil money that you would collect in the job you did coil with.

Eventually, your PLD would be able to afford the Coil body. Then you want the DRG gloves, you have to show up with your dRG and do T6 over and over until you have enough T6 money and buy them gloves.

Each floor would have a different currency, so you couln't possibly do T1 over and over until you could have the whole set.

No more QQ about an incredible bad luck on drop rate, but mostly, you would see a well geared guy, from head to toe, we would KNOW he knows how to play his role. Something to be proud of. Too many people showing up with godly gear, but suck at their job... why ? simply because they used their main to gear their alt.

Actually what you would see is more minimally geared people. This would completely negate the ability for people to horizontally gear, and lock people into picking 1 class in current content as most will be unable to clear it in minimal ilvl. Meanwhile also killing the option of skipping or alternating gear upgrades across patches, moving groups forward by giving the option of running any job needed to fill the party you may be profecient enough at just because you need tokens for 1 specific class, and making it even worse for newer players to find a foothold as they try to catch up to current.

This looks to me a veiled complaint about general player skill, even moving to the suggested system would not fix that as then you would just run into people looking for carries more often, on classes they are even worse at for lack of a larger ilvl buffer.

You should probably stop making new threads; they are just filled with QQ and a general lack of understanding. And no, I still see plenty of people that are 'well geared' as you put it but still have no idea how to play their job. HA weapon no longer means anything to me.

Plenty of players can play multiple jobs, and it's dumb to force you to play a certain job in order to get gear for it if another job fills out the party much better.

It's probably because he sees 5 threads on pretty much the same thing as spam. I've also never seen someone self bump their own threads as much as you have.

Not at all. There are similutude, yes, but i wanted to isolate the subjects because there are significant nuances between them. Altough i have to admit, i am not experienced much in forum discussions. I will try to delete this one, but idk how to do.
