LFM latecomers to the game

Hi Phoenix,

So I'm new, started playing the game a few weeks ago along with my brother. Having reached the end game, we find ourselves in limbo. As the game stands we face the choice of relentless pugging to catch up to current content, or treading water till the expansion and a gear reset hits.

Tearing through, keeping pace with heavily over-geared randoms is doable, but not always fun. So we would like to find others, like ourselves, who want to play with a regular group.

We are both mature players (read old), with real life commitments, and are looking to commit to regular runs on Wed and Sat from 8pm GMT. More than happy to join another group if there is one, if not we'll start one. We have an FC that you are more than welcome to join, but imagine most will prefer to join a linkshell and that's great too. Will be looking for all jobs and gear levels to start.

Thanks Martin, I'll take you up on that. One of the first unwritten challenges of any mmo is breaking past the crust of silent, and not silent enough players you meet in pugs, to find the good player base.

I'm sure there are loads of new players looking for similar. I'm not sure that here is the place I'll find them though. Not quite ready to start spamming chat in cities yet though. Will see what turns up.
