How do you think the job/class system will be like?

Yes but that is what the OP basicaly says. Ok he is using job/subjob terms but the end result is the same.

If you apply the job dragoon on your LNC, you are now a dragoon with your lancer abilities and probably unique DRG ones and will be unable to use some if not all other classes abilities. The OP says that exactly but uses subjob for the LNC since it's the base class for DRG. Yes it will be like having a subjob since you'll be able tu use that class' abilities but being locked on that subjob since you need to be a LNC to "apply" DRG.

Exactly, and i think thaumaturge could be like a red mage type, and i agree about traits, maybe mrd will get as warrior double attack and enhanced damage abbilities. And Bard could be a bad ass job if could be linked with thaumaturge because the buff and debuff spells in the mix.

Im not trying to say hey SE do this do that, just want to know everyone opinion and a clear dev coment about this.

It's more of a specialization, or role rather. Classes are for weapon proficiency which lead to learning skills. Jobs will be, as they sound, an announcement of what role you will play in a party.

By equipping a job, you will essentially specialize by gaining job-specific skills, being able to wear job-specific armor, and being limited in what cross class abilities you can equip.

I'm looking for it, but it was a while ago so there's a lot to go through.
