Unresponsive menus?

I've been getting some weird issues with my game today. I played it just fine last night but when I tried to log in today, I've had several different things just not work right.

First off, when I went to log in first try, all I was getting was a black screen. Then it would say the client was not responding so it'd close. That happened 3 times before I finally got to the start menu. I finally got logged in but all I could see was the ground and not my character. I tried opening the inventory and wasn't seeing the icons for the items. So I relogged. Started the game back up, got to the character selection screen and couldn't see anything. It was blank. I tried asking a friend what I should do and he suggested repair my client. Since there is no repair, I reset my settings to default. Started it back up and the opening video was lagging. Got to the start menu, got to the character selection screen and I just saw my character. No buttons at all. Just the character. Closed it again, finally got back on, thought the loading was taking too long and closed it. Relogged. Back to the, can only see ground, items have no icons. At this point, my friend thought it was my graphics card. I didn't think so. So while I was talking to someone, everything just starting working againish. I could see my character, I could see the item icons. BUT, menu's were slightly unresponsive and when I say slightly I mean, it would take them a good 5-10 secs before they would open. Now, it's only the windows that haven't been opened yet. But, when I tried to open a window that hasn't been opened, not only does it take a bit but my sound goes out too. Also, fighting works fine but the battle music takes a bit to start up.

I know this sounds like a mess, which it was but I would like to be able to play. Anyone experiencing weird issues like this or is it just my client? I looked at several different topics today and haven't really found anything that is similar to what I was experiencing. I would like to see if anyone has a solution or not before I try to reinstall. Reinstalling is my last resort since you know, the game is big.

Also, I'm getting weird lag issues. Mainly in crafting. Like my character takes a couple of secs to start and stop but fighting is fine. I checked my ping on speedtest and it's fine. When going to town, it takes a big for the NPC's and other players to appear but this didn't happen last night. I haven't done anything different since then >_>.

My crafting has been a little laggy too
