Client Freezing while Using the Character Menu

I'm running the game on a Lenovo Y510P laptop with SLI 750M cards. Maybe starting 3-6 months ago, the game will become unresponsive about 80-90% of the time I open the character menu or if I stay in the character menu for too long. It stays unresponsive until I open the task manager, and then the CPU % will increase very high to about 70-80% while the screen refreshes. I must quickly exit the character menu before the game starts to freeze again. After freezing a few times, it will occasionally give me a notification that the graphics card driver crashed, but I have the most recent driver, and it has been freezing with previous drivers as well. Does anyone know what could be causing this? The game mainly only freezes in the character menu, so I don't know how opening the character menu would cause the client to freeze so frequently. It's really troublesome when it takes 10 minutes to change classes or gear because of all the freezing.

I had my driver crash in the following situations:
- OC'ed my Card too much.
- HDMI Cable to my TV was broken

Guessing from this it is most likely a hardware issue.
If you have the option you could try to un-SLI your cards and try each alone?
