    The mass exodus from Summoner to Black Mage has already happened at high end game raiding and when Machinist comes out the Summoner population will go extinct. Shame to see SE let of the most iconic job in final fantasy history has been reduced to the worse DPS job in game even a White Mage does more damage then the Summoner when not healing.

    I thought Ninja was suppose to be a DoT class making SMN extinct? Whatever happened to that "prediction"?

    The Summoner still went extinct so I was partially correct. The Machinist will simply mean no one will ever level up a Summoner again.
