If it was a bold assertion it might've raised some hairs. Luckily it was indeed a bald assertion. And as much as I'm not a fan of the armoury system, the class and job system makes a lot of sense. I would MUCH rather have had firm job roles built into each class but as you've pointed out, it would severely hamper solo/casual play.
