Housing Wishlist!

We all have that moment when you think housing can be improved, in whichever aspect it may be. Let's share and hopefully SE will notice and the community can benefit from it! I'll start us off.

1. Within acceptable boundaries, be able to change the entrance to your plot and the entrance to your house.
2. Be able to rotate the house to face another direction.
3. Have another type of wall-partition that copies the current interior wall of that floor.
4. Within acceptable boundaries, be able to change the position of the staircase(s) and private rooms entrance door.
5. In the future, be able to add more items outside and inside.
6. Make the current ponds (or new ones) act as if they are one if placed next to each other. Like one pond next to each other would create a connected, longer pond.
7. Be able to change the look/or remove the scarecrow on the garden patches.
8. Like the interior, a way to change the front garden floor would be nice. Stone, different types of grass, part stone, part grass, etc.
9. Off/on switch or a dimmer for lights.
10. See-through windows?

And for number 2,
I strongly request able to rotate the house and there should be some margin for us to place the house. (ie. close to right or left or center) ^^;

Not sure if this counts since it's an item, but I'd love a painting as big as the GC leaders' of Gelmorra Ruins from 1.0.

And just more wall mounted items in general.

And to keep more in line with the OP, I would like to be able to turn the lights off inside the house. Sometimes when I tab out of that game and tab back in, it takes the lights a few seconds to activate. I kind of like it. Plus, my character is a Duskwight. She's used to the dark!

- Wall mounts / stands for weapons: for those neat looking weapons you got as loot but that aren't very useful
- Armour stands: as per weapons
- plain rugs. I cannot stress this enough. I want simply square/rectangular/round rugs that are dyeable. Novelty rugs are great and have their place. But sometimes you need a basic rug that works with the room.

Be able to partition areas (with or without partitions - I'm just thinking of marking an area of floor) and apply wall/floor patterns to it, instead of just to the entire floor. Even just being able to separately decorate the two upper-room floors in mansions would be a start

I think it would also be nice to be able to dye furniture after it's already been placed and arranged in a spot. It kind of is a hassle when you get something looking right, but then realize you'd like to see that object in a different color, then have to remove it so you can dye it and then have to fiddle with it hoping you get it right the way you had it.

Why not have the option available by right-clicking the furiture from the item window?

I think you can already do this. Unless I dreamt it.

Yes you can do this already - bring up the housing items -> Indoor/Outdoor furnishings list and select the item - if it is dyeable it will have a "Paint" option

Dunno how I missed this but, BACK GARDENS! It can even be instanced like the private rooms, I wouldn't mind that at all.

Have aesthetician and retainer bell in personal rooms for FC housing. And personal housing while you're at it. Plus your special event clothing chest and journal.

EDIT: Ahhh looks like retainer bell was added... Yays.
