I like to draw attention to this part of the "notice":

This new feature is still in test phase. All the item details will be displayed in English.

* Item data is provided with a help of ZAM FFXIV.

Why is it that you, square-enix, the developers of the "item data", the database, in god's green earth need zam's help in any form? especially since zam hasn't updated their database in a long time. I mean no offence by this but that's the most unprofessional and incompetent thing I've seen so far and that's saying alot since I've witnessed a great deal from closed beta till now. Anyway my suggestion is get the "official" item data in to play instead of going to a 3rd party to get something you designed yourselves.

Even better, create an API that will allow people to access the data from other locations.

Yeah. This was the biggest "???". Lodestone doesn't have access to FFXIV item data when the same company makes the game?
