How can I get technical support?

Since this game launched in 2010 I have had problems with my controller running away from my at the most in inopportune times. I have tried on a number of occasions to get help in solving this problem. I have tried both the tech support forums and these forums to no avail. SE has always ignored me and the others with similar problems. It is their system they should know something. Please do not ignore me. I would like a means to contact the proper people. Thank You.

added: to the purist out there.....if I could use a keyboard and mouse I would. I cannot so please keep your comments to yourself.

I'm not familiar with what you mean by the controller running away from you. I do use controller for everything except long chats, though I'm also on PS3.

By running away I mean if I am going in a certain direction my Avatar will continue to move in that direction even when I release the Analog stick. I have to fight the system to regain control. If I am turning then I continue to turn etc.

Ah, I had a similar issue in FFXI. One time my gamepad calibration was just ever so slightly off and I had to fight to stop it. The other time, I had to get a new gamepad because the left stick was looseish. I would look into the first one as the more likely suspect, but if you use the controller for other games too, it could be the latter. If it's like FFXI, there was a system calibration and a calibration from the game, so I'd check both.

I would like for SE to tell me. FYI. I have used both Wired and Wireless; PS3 controller; Xbox 360 controller and Logitech (30 days old). I calibrated it using the tools provided. I continue to have the problem.

Calibrations for XI and XIV are different. I do not have any problems with FFXI or any other games. Everything that is being mentioned now has been suggested before. I have tried them to no avail. I would like to discuss this matter with someone who has knowledge of the system SE uses. If it is my system he/she might be able to steer me in the right direction using that knowledge.

To Raidenz: I am pushing 68 Years old. My hands cannot handle that kind of fast, repetitive movement without pain. A controller allows me to play a game that I totally enjoy in my retirement. (Yea I know.....cheap entertainment)

It's odd that it's only FF14 1.x and 2.x since they are different code bases. The game was re-wrote.

You wont get the kind of response because the game as you probably know is Japanese and all the dev work is down there. Only NA employees frequent these sites.

Do you use a PC or console?

If a PC what controller do you use, do you use third party software?

Have you checked the controller config in game and see if any options are enabled or need disabling.
