    Why not compare the 2 games? Yes, FFIV is totally seperate but I would think it should be more than its previous title, it should have equal or greater battle system because I feel this was toned down for more different reasons than just because of can't or won't. Reason would be for an easier learning process or to draw a bigger crowd of new players, but what about old exp players that are bored with a limited character build up. I would say more longtime players would agree, "but it is as it is i guess."
