More advanced battle system please!

To be fair. The dev team had to make due with what resources they had.
I would not be surorised if we got a better battle system in say 4.0.
As to do so they would need to gut the current engine, build a new one, & then install it...and finally tweek every aspect of the game to reflect that.

Thats years of work...

Would it actually be worth going through all that effort/money when the current system actually isn't that bad? I cannot be the only person who actually enjoys the combat in this game...
