Hey there!
My name is Merri. Some of you may know me from the terrible shorts I put out on youtube from time to time. Most of you probably don't~
I'll cut straight to the chase, and make my intentions clear. I'm now looking for a new FCoB static here on Balmung. EST evenings preferred, though depending on how times sync up, I may be willing to change things up so long as they fall within my schedule. I'm looking to raid two to three nights a week tops. Several hours preferred. Four days is pushing it, though I may be willing to for the sake of progression and with the idea that raid nights will narrow down to 1-2 after progression.
As it stands, I'm looking to play Ninja in coil. (Currently i115. No i125 relic, poetics spent on weapon tokens, etc.)
It's incredibly unlikely, but, depending on the situation I may be goaded into playing Warrior. I do have plans on trying out Dark Knight as my main come Heavensward, but that's an entirely different can of worms, and could be discussed it things came to it.
I've been playing Warrior in coil more or less since launch, and though I've always wanted to play melee and they were my jobs of choice outside of Coil, my static did not have room for me to play as one. So I'm just sort of spent on tanking. I don't really want to do it anymore, and I'd like to finally play what I've always wanted to play in endgame. Melee DPS.
I consider myself entirely coil ready. Poetics tokens ready for my i120, self-sufficient in terms of food and potions, etc. Know my job well, though my word only goes so far there.
Far as my track record goes, I had T5 down and on farm pre-echo / nerfs. T9 down on farm pre-echo / nerfs. However, our static has been floundering due to schedules clashing and the holidays, among other things, and we've only progressed into FCoB to the add phase in T11.
However, due to reasons I won't list here, I've decided to step down from my static and I'm looking to play with other people for a time. I'm looking for people who are easy going, and learn at a decent pace. Bottom line, not looking to flounder on a turn for longer than a week or two of solid progression, depending on the content.
As far as commitment goes, so long as the group is fun and enjoyable to be with, you can consider me top notch. My previous static lasted for nearly three years in FFXIV. (We did what endgame there was in 1.0 together, and everything so far in ARR up until this point.)
Feel free to drop me a line in-game @ Endemerrin Rosethorne, and we can talk further if you're looking for a melee DPS slot to be filled in your static! Thanks for reading.
