Well that was no good. I made a new profile and now it won't let me play unless I buy the game again.

@Eye_Gore I'm still waiting for a mail from support. Been waiting for almost a week for a sign of life from them. I ordered some stuff in China on the same day. I got the message last Friday that it was shipped. I wonder what will get here to Europe faster: a package from China through mail (and customs), or a support e-mail from Square Enix.
If there's a solution or answer from support, ever, I will post it here.
No problem. I spent all night trying to get the game playing on my PC account to no avail. It seems that SE have coded the game to link your userid to your PS account and there is no way to unlink it unless SE does it. I also read that SE can unlink it for you but it takes weeks. It's a shame that such a great game has such poor support.
When I entered it said that the accounts were going to be linked and that it couldn't be UNlinked. It didn't state however WHICH accounts it would link. I wrongly assumed it would link the SE account to my personal PSN account which has PS Plus attached to it, and not on any other accounts on the PS4 console. It seems that the SE gets linked to your PS Plus account. Also, the fact that you can't unlink something, does not automatically mean you can't link a SECOND account to the console/PSN/PSPlus/or-whatever-the-hell-it-could-possibly-linked to.No problem. OK rather than wait 2 weeks for the email to go through, I contacted them via live chat and they deleted the extra userid and now when I launch the game on ps4 I can enter the correct one. Just FYI, live chat is WAY better than waiting on the phone.
I've had bad experiences with live chat for other services in the past, so I didn't even think about trying it. Going to go for it tonight, when they open up. How long was your wait?
Well, you had better luck then. I got some automated bot that just copied and pasted a wall of text on how to submit a special form. And then the connection was closed. The queue was 45 minutes btw. They could have mailed me the same same wall of text last week, really. But here it is:

To be continued...
Another 35 minutes, and I got this:
-------------------------------------
Agent Melinda S: Hello and thank you for contacting SQUARE ENIX Customer Support. Just a few moments while I review your question, please.
Agent Melinda S: While I look over your ticket information, may I have your first name please?
You: XXXXX
Agent Melinda S: Hello L. May I have the SQUARE ENIX ID?
You: XXXXX
You: My PSN is XXXXXX and the one that is wrongly liniked is 'XXXXXX', if that helps

I feel like I'm on candid camera right now...The guy gave me the NA support specifically.
To be continued...
Great... On the EU site, the chat support doesn't work...I really don't know what's left to try now.
Where on earth do I get support in EU? Emails don't get answered, the chat function doesn't work and making phone calls from my country to the UK are too expensive.
