Raidroulette

I'm not sure if I am just crazy and dragged my friends into this but we started lately so-called Raidroulettes.

What this is?
You inv 1-3 friends to party decide who is boss and this person picks 5 contents out of the unlocked BCoB (usually only T5), SCoB, EX Primals and Ultima Weapon. Sometimes you exclude some content because you just hate it or for other reason but in general you have the surprise.
So far also noone has withdrawn only went ouch at some pops.

Why you do it?
We do it for bonus tomes, light (even with non casual playstyle still at modest activity on my Novus-SE nerf it srsly!) and the fun. Because even if we still wipe 70% of the time we have fun and can help some ppl on the other hand (if there is no language barrier).

Well I really would enjoy to have this Raidroulette as an official function in the game or just having the possibility of queueing more than 5 contents at once could help our "randoms".

Honestly I do it alone as pld (since tanks are lacking and i love playing as pld) and i stick untill we complete the duty or people rage and just drop out. I agree tho, it would be nice to have a "raidroulette" with some decent rewards to push more people to help others and stop the "run sellers" from spamming around in Mor Dhona

Yup always a happy fun time in those runs. Add it please. I'd even go further:

BCoB roulette
SCoB roulette
EX trials roulette - I'd add Ultima to this maybe - or add it to trials
Raid Roulette - this would be all of the above...

And once FCoB get's solo queue add a FCoB roulette

I've been doing this with my fc mates for a while, within the fc it's been coined a "V roulette" after my name.
usually it's a mix of random ex primal fights and coil turns, and NEVER tell the group what's been selected.

half the time it may be content they've not even watched a video for before, I just throw them to the DF wolves and see what sticks.

We have such fun with it that my FC mates do it to me now too.

What would make me sad though would be if you'd need a clear on all the contents of the roulette, as I dont have T9 clear but still put it in our roulettes. On other hand that had also to mean to make ex primals not as much "hidden" behind each other as they are at the moment (mog/levi for rammy, rammy for shiva, titan for iffy).
I always been wondering why Duty Roulette Low is the only roulette where you can get content u didn't yet accomplish (got halatali nm once on alt while leveling it still).

I do this before scheduled FCoB raid days when we are waiting on someone (namely, our SMN -.-). Will just queue up for things people typically need carries for, such as T5,8,9, and Titan EX. There have been some lucky DPS who got there carry for free this way, and its good warm up for us before raid

I do this a lot with members of my static. Sometimes we invite others too. Whenever we do this, we usually really spice things up and have one person choose jobs for everyone (has to be leveled/geared obviously) and everyone else pick one duty. Everything goes via tells to the raid leader, so nobody knows what job they'll be on when they pick. He then has people change to their jobs, then queues for the duties to see which one pops first.

We did an especially memorable Ultima HM with 3 of us on Dragoon and one on Ninja where we got a first clear for a newbie tank. There's been countless other clears with people on shuffled jobs/roles, and it's usually pretty fun.

Alternately, we get 7 static members/friends together and put up a PF: "Need something cleared? We need your bonus Soldiery! T9 not included." This last week we ended up doing x2 Ifrit X, x2 Ramuh X, Ultima HM, x2 T7, T6, and Shiva X. All in all it's a really great way to farm soldiery and do something fun with your friends. ^^

Ow yeah something I'd as well enjoy queueing for duties where i can say DF tell me what to use out of let's say PLD/BRD/WHM and i do the duty in the role that pops because i main Tanks/Heals but wouldnt mind to DPS stuff if i can speed up DFs that way (its rare but happens :P).
And yes we did some derpraids (stoning each other on purpose and killing some other ways can be such a fun <3) in T7 with static where actually noone besides me was in a mainclass (I had to because noone else felt like healing that day) and it is pretty fun think we can take the choose classes for others over though some of us still use it as a way to obtain some of this daomed light but well...

I've been doing this 7/8 no job crystal lately. T9 included. The reaction from the df player when they see the party in all classes is priceless. But the reaction when they get T9 or Titan EX cleared for nothing is better.
