    QoL change: Sky watcher

First: Thank you SE for forecasting the weather through an npc. It was needed for us fishermen.

My issue: Can we get the time of the next weather change put on there as well? It would help by not having to go to websites or hope that someone took note of when the last change occurred.

A bit unrelated, but anyone know if the new Sky Watcher NPC predicts "Hopeless" (Odin) weather?

Just curious if I can use them as a rough gauge for the next Odin pop or if it's still pretty much random (with a 72hr base window). I'm trying to stock up a few mantles but have only ever run into Odin once and it was a total fluke really, I was mining lol

Hopeless is a weather override: If Odin is up the weather is Hopeless. If Steel Reign spawns at the right time it can be Hopeless through 2 weather changes.

This was seriously needed (some way to predict when Odin/Behemoth were going to spawn), but of course they're going to ignore it.

I actually prefer it that we can't predict when behe and odin are going to pop. They're the kinds of server events where if you want to participate then you have to drop everything and rush over. The spontaneity of it is part of the fun I feel. It would kinda ruin it if I knew before hand that they were going to spawn in X minutes. Especially for behe since then I and about 100 other people would just camp his spawn spot and would lock other people out of getting his rewards.

I'm hoping a site pops up that references the forecasts somehow and then spits out a 24 game-hour list of which vistas and big fish are going to be available.

The sad thing is, two straight times I was in Shroud when the weather changed. I timed it. From weather change, to Odin dead, 6 minutes, and 7 minutes. You have to rush over because it is pulled immediately and you have to pray to get a gold. It really wouldn't matter if we knew the spawn time or not, such a large over geared zerg now kills him so easily and fast. It would make almost no difference if we knew spawn time or not. But, I agree we should not know that. He's dead fast enough as it is.

Pretty sure they have extra health now. Took Behemoth 10 minutes to kill Odin last time I did it (last week) with over 80 people there.

Having an opinion does not make you right or wrong, it simply means you have an opinion. Don't get irritated when people don't agree.
