Any info on the current game about Dravania? I know that we will have access in 3.0 and that dragons lives there but i'm curious about any lore related to it.

That pretty much is all the lore related to Dravania. We'll be going there in 3.0 and it has dragons. As far as I can tell, they left it pretty vague so that we'd be questioning who was more righteous in the war between the dragons of Dravania and the knights of Ishgard right up until we found out for ourselves, expecting to release that content within a reasonable time frame --- and then 1.0 crashed and burned. Aside from a little bit of the inner workings of the Horde, pretty much all we know about Dravania is that Sharlayan used to have a colony there until it was abandoned when peace talks with the empire fell through in 1562 (6AE).
Sharlayan? Peace talk?! Tell me more..
Speaking of Dravania, I'm wondering about its climate and terrain. From the screenshots at Fan Fest, it seems mountainous like Coerthas....but not snowy mountainous. That pretty much is all the lore related to Dravania. We'll be going there in 3.0 and it has dragons. Sharlayan is an island north of Aldenard, but they established a colony in Eorzea as the Sixth Astral Era city-states rose, which they also named Sharlayan (think of how English colonies named a bunch of their towns after towns in England, or how people who took the Oregon trail from Portland [ME] to build Portland [OR]). The Sharlayans are a pretty anti-war, scholarly crowd, so when the Garleans took Ala Mhigo in 1557 (6AE), they tried their hand at diplomacy.
In 1562 (6AE), the Empire had consolidated their power in Ala Mhigo and were using it as their foothold in Eorzea, hoping to launch an armada of airships into Mor Dhona, take the heart of the realm, and control the aether from its center of convergence in hopes of preventing the beast tribes from summoning primals (the Empire had gone up against primals in Othard, and it cost them dearly). From there, they could bring the rest of the realm under control. The Sharlayans, realizing that these peace talks had completely fallen through, abandoned Eorzea back to their island home. The Empire's advance hit a ten year delay, though, after their grab for Mor Dhona resulted in the Battle of Silvertear Skies (Midgardsormr and a horde of Dravanians tore the armada apart and the Garlean flagship crashed into Silvertear Lake, killing Midgardsormr and breaking the seal on Mor Dhona's aetherial conflux as the whole thing went up in a ceruleum explosion).

Prof. Moose! Prof. Moose! /raise hand... after their grab for Mor Dhona resulted in the Battle of Silvertear Skies (Midgardsormr and a horde of Dravanians tore the armada apart and the Garlean flagship crashed into Silvertear Lake, killing Midgardsormr and breaking the seal on Mor Dhona's aetherial conflux as the whole thing went up in a ceruleum explosion).
Is it the ship fall down and broke the seal under lake or the Midgardsormr itself is like the primal after he die he release the energy and become little primals? 1.0 opening CG)
So, when all primal die and they release something to somewhere... Is that what Ascians want to do that grab all the energy back and bring back Midgardsormr? cus they seems happy after we killed all the (hard/extreme) primals...
I'm curious about this, do you have any more information about this encounter? Obviously the Empire hates Primals, is that because of this lose to them in Othard or does that predate this? Do we know anything about the Primals in Othard, who they are and who summoned them? Isn't Doma a part of Othard, in that case why doesn't Yugiri recognize what a Primal is?
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
The empires hatred for primals would run a little deeper than them just being threatening. due to the technologically minded culture they would have, The idea of worshiping deities would be unthinkable especially considering the rather unfair disadvantage the garlean race has genetically. In their minds gods gave them nothing so they created their own power. Those third eyes might hide more than we know though.I'm curious about this, do you have any more information about this encounter?
