I kinda believe my system does that.
The job system is a way to impose an order to your uniqueness and grant you bonuses for using synergistic skills to your Job, or you can foregoe it and get the bonuses from just your class. But they are equally powerful.
A No Job Gladiator can be just as effective as a Gladiator/Warrior for instance.
Essentially my system introduces the old classic jobs as Subjobs and the Weapon Class as the main job.
But you can forgoe having the subjob and still be effective it would just be like if you equipped the Class itself as your subjob.
Gladiator/Gladiator Etc.
I know that sounds confusing 0.o
