I have done this and I have frowned upon it. Having leveled all classes to 50 I have experienced every type of player in a dungeon run. The whm who cast medica just to do it and would go oom. Then the tank who would spam riot blade and wouldn't pick up adds.

WHM example, as a tank I watched a healer spam medica saying that he didn't want people's health to get low. I politely explained if you wouldn't spam that then there would be less of an issue. So he continued and then I watched him quickly die, since most of the pulls were fair sized. He quickly listened.

PLD and War who didn't hold threat. As a whm or a scholar I would watch a tank pull incredibly slow then wouldn't bother with any AoE ability. One heal and I get threat, I end up tanking anyways. I try to talk but they ignore me. Which happens quite regularly. You talk to people in DF and get no response. Since I am tanking, I decide to go at my own pace. DPS gladly agree because they see my frustration. They see me try and are happier because they don't want to be there any longer.

One time in Thousand Maws I had a Gladiator that wasn't holding threat and I ended up tanking until he got fed up and dropped. New tank came in and knew what he was doing and I sat back and healed.

I would care if the healer was intentionally being a bad guy and would say something. But if the tank isn't even trying and won't respond then I am not going to sweat it. I am going to do my job and if that means I end up tanking then so be it. Also there have been soo many bad players coming in who don't respond or know it all I think the community is exhausted.
