From a purely DPS-oriented perspective, the Wootz Plate Belt is ahead. However, you're effectively trading 6 VIT for ~2.5 STR, which is a very poor trade (not to mention you lose 3 (M)DEF). By no means do you NEED that 6 VIT or 3 (M)DEF, but there are far more effective trade-offs for STR.

That said, it does mean that the Augmented Ironworks Belt of Fending is a rather low priority upgrade, if you already have a Penta-Melded Wootz Plate Belt; I'm still using it for this reason.

As for Attack Power/STR, Dervy covered most of it. I would like to add that Berserk affects Attack Power, specifically. Ostensibly, this means that while your effective STR is ~11.11/8.33% higher (Berserk on 90s CD/Synced with Unchained), your DET is not. I'm not sure if Dervy's simulation accounts for this nuance or not.

Sorry about that was too focused on stating the observation of weight per the piece with the effective lost of Str with out the obvious stat cap for 110 vs 130 and lost proper structure in the process. EHP I was aware would go down did not know the str scale for parry/block though hasn't been tested since the i90 jump.

Thank you I was aware of the trade off was against me if I already had the augmented belt but this is what I specifically was looking for as I didn't know if there were factors outside berserk such as updates in the damage calculation that I have missed.
