Some other MMOs have occasional sales on items in their store. Like one weekend all the pets might be 50% off, or the mounts would be $10 off.
I might be more inclined to buy the minions I don't have if they would go on sale.

Or a grab bag once there's more things up. Pay $x, get random item (barring the marriage ones.) Could be a Sleipnir, could be a red dye.
So the gift bag from the Starlight event, but with the risk of real money? Are you trying to get people in trouble for potential gambling?
...no. Those are called Gashapon items and they are stupid as shit. Let's not suggest terrible business practices, shall we?
Edit: however on topic, I'd be all for mog-station sales. I severely doubt it'll happen for items such as transfers or name-changes, but I'd like to see sales for vanity stuff a couple times a year.

They're really cheap, the only thing they could make sale offers is for sleipnir lol
If this was like in the TF2 Mann Co. Store where it gave you a random item after spending $x, I could get behind this.
As a standalone item, lol, it might be a good experiment in Darwinism, I guess.
You're good at the game? You're an elitist.
You're using a parser to better yourself? Elitist.
You're making suggestions on how someone can improve themselves? E l i t i s t.
You wipe a farm party constantly but you're having fun playing your way. Nah you're fine dude.
This community astounds me at times.
I am not normally one to cry "the game is going F2P!!!!1111!1" at the first sign of a cash shop, but if these pop up I'm getting out of here.
Grab bags are an annoying tactic by gaming companies to bleed as much money from the stones that are their players as possible. I'm OK with buying mounts, minions, and other assorted aesthetic gear. Hell I'd even be OK with "booster decks" for an integrated cardgame.
I am NOT OK with "goody bags". Especially since the practice is to always put something the players actually WANT in the goody bags and have it completely random, undyeable, and only one part of a larger set. To get us to buy more goody bags. Oh, and sometimes you get absolutely nothing!
Perfect World forces the damned things on every game they make (Cryptic was forced to add them to STO, CO, and NW after being bought out by PW) and it's annoying as hell to have your viability as a player determined by the gaming equivalent of a gachapon machine. SWTOR handled them a little better, but PWI's is absolutely sickening.
