Quelling Strikes

It does NOTHING to your DPS

Unless you use it after an instant cast, the Quelling Strikes animation is going to cut into your potential casting time. The only instant cast a BLM would use early enough for Quelling Strikes to matter would be Swiftcast Fire III, but that's a waste of Swiftcast if you're going to be Flaring any time soon.

You can argue that the DPS hit doesn't matter, but it's definitely there.
