I bit the bullet and leveled Archer (not Bard) to 34 just for quelling. No offense, it's my least favorite class... but it just had to be done. Absolutely mandatory if BLM's want to go full throttle (and not just with double and triple Flare). Burst damage can cause so much chaos at times.
