I've seen this before, too. I think its a shading glitch from the lips clipping together.

Same thing on male Dunefolk lala as well. Really stands out because of my dark skin.
It's definitely teeth. The lips aren't completely connecting. Penetrating geometry wouldn't create an artifact like that (we can see that it doesn't in numerous other areas where hair/weapons penetrate other geometry). This would be an easy fix by VERY slightly adjusting the upper/lower lip vertices to clip into each other.

Nooo, it gives them a bit of a bimboish pout, I like it !
Design flaw? Being able to see teeth when a mouth is not fully closed is a design flaw?
You can even see the vertical lines between each tooth ( or at least shaded areas used to simulate that affect)
Isn't just on Hyur, it's noticeable on many of the races. Especially male miqo'te.
