Did they change SS on pets? I thought they just tweaked Garuda-Egi a bit so she wasn't so vastly better than Ifrit-Egi thanks to the players SS?

Garuda is vastly better than Ifrit due to contagion being so good.
Not tested it, but on my SCH alt, fairy heals have increased as my gear has, also when you summon pet it does take a snapshot of your stats most obvious one being HP. With Titan Egi if you equip vit accs and summon he gets a big boost in HP.

Did you, er, factor Rouse's 40% healing up into your calculations when you used Embrace after popping Rouse and taking off your gear? It seems like you did based on the math, but just making sure.Just did some quick tests and this seems to be untrue.
In gear: ~650 Embrace
No gear: ~650 Embrace
After Rouse: ~650 Embrace
Resummon with no gear: 370 Embrace.
By no means was this an in depth test, but the results seem conclusive enough. With no gear on Rouse didn't reset my pets stats, only resummoning did.
BTW, a while back I seem to recall people saying the Egi stat refresh came from using Spur, not Rouse. If no one beats me to it, I'll test when I get home. If so...gg SE, keep making SCH OP while SMN is slowly circling the drain. :/
The issue was Garuda-Egis basic attack move was affected by players SS, since it was technically a spell, while Ifrit-Egis was a physical attack. On top of Contagion it made Ifrit-Egi extremely pathetic. They changed that to close the gap between the two, I don't think they ever specifically changed SS for all pets, just gave Garuda-Egis move a static cooldown.
I didn't even bother using Embrace under Rouse. The test was simply to see if Rouse refreshed my fairies stats. Taking off gear didn't change Embraces potency, still nude Embrace had the same potency following Rouse wearing off. Resummoning nude was the only thing that dropped the potency. Had Rouse refreshed anything, the potency should have dropped after Rouse. I'd find it odd if Spur does this but Rouse doesn't, considering they're basically the same ability... Given the developers 'love' for Summoner, it wouldn't surprise me though...
